1. Successful Weight Loss
    So you've tried to lose weight and exercise regularly on your own? Don't waste another dollar on diet books, fat-burning supplements or infomercial exercise aids. ETS gives you the tools to make healthy eating and exercise a permanent part of your life. Meet one-on-one for two sessions with a registered dietitian and five sessions with an exercise physiologist. You will be well on your way to reaching your goals! Identify skills to exercise safely and eat healthfully for the rest of your life.

  2. Which Weigh to Wellness?
    Identify healthy eating and exercise options to incorporate into your everyday life. Join with your friends and co-workers so that you can support and motivate one another. This program is open to participants with diabetes, heart disease, hypertension or other health issues.

    Five one-hour weekly sessions at the worksite for groups of 3-10 participants.

    I. Identify exchanges based on the American Dietetic Association's weight management program. Incorporate your favorite foods into a realistic plan created just for you.

    II. Identify healthy food choices when eating out.

    III. Define the health benefits of exercise.

    IV. Identify ways to handle stresses of job, family, friends.

    V. Identify skills to make this plan a permanent part of your life.

  3. Individualized Exercise Programs
    (Designed & Implemented)
    ETS provides individually designed exercise programs to meet everyone's needs. This can be done with a "personal trainer" on a regular basis or as a one-time program development consultation. With higher education in exercise science and years of experience behind us we can develop all aspects of your fitness program from goal setting to long term maintenance programs and everything in between. At ETS we specialize in the following areas of exercise and training, including but not limited to general fitness programming and conditioning, post rehabilitation/special populations, and sports specific training for athletes.   4. General Fitness Programming
    This type of program is for someone who has a low fitness level or for someone who has not exercised in years. It is also appropriate for someone who wants to know the latest and most accurate information on exercise and training. We can help you set goals, administer a fitness test if needed, develop an individualized exercise program for any length of time and help with motivational techniques to keep you consistent. Our programs are developed specifically for your wants and needs.

  5. Post Rehabilitation & Special Population
    Since ETS has worked for over six years as consultants with many physical therapists and doctors. Due to our level of experience and education we have developed and administered many exercise and nutrition programs under the supervision and in conjunction with physical therapists, physicians and athletic trainers. At ETS we are aware of our limitations and will guide you to the appropriate health professional if necessary. We work with your health professional to give you the safest, most efficient and effective program possible. Over the last eight years working with special populations has become ETS's specialty. Currently we work with clients with heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, low back pain, pelvic instability, neck pain (C-spine), shoulder and hip problems, arthritis, neuro-muscular problems, cancer and pharmacological contraindications. Having worked for over four years as a collegiate head strength and conditioning coach, John has worked with many athletic injuries in conjunction with the athletic trainer and physical therapist to safely return the athlete to competition as soon as possible.

  6. Sport Specific Training
    ETS has over nine years of combined experience working with collegiate and professional athletes on the development of short and long term goals and periodized programs. We can develop a pre-season, in season or long term periodized training program. In conjunction with the strength and conditioning program we can provide the most comprehensive and current information on nutrition possible.
